Big announcements!

Hello all! It's been a while since I've updated here, and I apologize for that. Times have gotten extremely busy here. Andrew and I have announced that we plan to get married the first weekend of June 2013, and since then I have been dragged to bridal conventions and expos all around the state. Although I have gotten some wonderful ideas, and some ideas are just too far fetched for our budget, although I loved them.
I have also been set back a week due to health reasons. I had to have another colonoscopy this past week, my doctors thought I had chrons disease, although it turned out to be yet another infection at the junction of my big and little intestines.
I have taken some self portraits, which you can see on my flickr here.
I hope you are all having a wonderful time in your life.
Happy Valentine's Day!
I have a project that I will be announcing soon. I just haven't decided when to announce it. I may announce it tonight on my flickr. So please keep an eye out if you'd like to hear about it!

The visit on the 18th.

I apologize in advance for the mass updating of my blog entries. I'm going to try to have them auto post themselves each day, so I don't overwhelm anyone with my posts.

Anyways, my Aunt from Mass. came down for a quick visit on December 18th and my nieces were there. I naturally took pictures of only them because my family members are all horribly camera shy. Which is so difficult for me, being a photographer.

I tried a new editing style with this one photograph of Cooper.
Most of the others only have a color filter over them.

THE chocolate cookies

The Saturday before Christmas weekend my grandmother made her famous chocolate cookies.
So I naturally snapped a few photos. I love watching her bake. She gets so into it.

Santa sighting!

Yesterday my two Aunts, my mother and I brought my two little nieces to the annual VFW Christmas Party and to see Santa! They were so good! Cooper's at that age where she feels the need to mow down anyone in her way to get to where she's going. She cut me off a couple of times. She was so funny! Tessa loved getting her face painted and had me go with her to get her butterfly face paint fixed when it smudged after she wiped her face, and then she decided that she wanted a lady bug too. Coops was terrified of Santa, she didn't know quite what to make of him, and Tessa was just so happy. They got great gifts from him too! Cooper got a playskool Little People Bus with three little people in it and she loved it, she was playing with it for the rest of the party, and Tessa got a little baby doll that speaks english and spanish that she can feed with either the bottle or baby food and it makes baby noises when she feeds it.
Overall this was the best part of the day.

Thanksgiving and setting up for the Holidays!

Andy and I had Thanksgiving dinner with my side of the family. It was a lot of fun. We had Cooper and Tessa running around, Coops was only happy when she was doing her own thing, she hates to be held now.

Cooper started out hating Thanksgiving. All she wanted was her momma and no one else.

Then she got distracted with how yummy the mashed potatoes were. Bahah!

yum yum yum!

Then today I did my favorite thing to do around the holidays with my mother! We set up our Christmas tree! Well, I set it up and then she and I decorated it. She also decorated her apartment, while I shot photos of course.

Tomorrow we're going to see TSO (Trans Siberian Orchestra), Andy, my mother and our family friend aka my second mom Sharon! I'm so excited! My mom and I have made it a tradition to go see TSO every year around Thanksgiving and my birthday!

run run reindeer

dear Santa get here quickly!
I love Christmas time. My Aunt has already put up her Christmas trees. (She has two)
I can't wait to get the apartment with Andy. I'm going to be decorating as soon as the Christmas mood strikes.

I'm working on overlays. I like this one. I also have one on my flickr. So go ahead and check it out if you'd like.
